Actually, I just didn't like the price of the OEM air filter, so that's the only reason I switched to the foam one. Every bike dealer I've checked wants $30-$40 for it. The only difference I've noticed since switching the filter is that it seems like it takes longer for the bike to warm up...ie it acts like it wants to stall at low speeds for about 5 minutes. Is this a sign of being too lean? Mabye I will try adjusting the mixture screw next weekend.
